Studio Gummi is the work of Berlin based independent designer and visual artist Nicolaas Kotzé, with a love for digital design, motion and 3d graphics. He holds a BA degree in Visual Communication and he also 'praats' Afrikaans. His background is an equal mix of conceptual thinking and design craft. Spending his time between Cape Town and Berlin, he explores type, illustration, branding, motion, product and graphic design. With more than 15 years of experience as a freelance creative, he has lost some sleep and won some awards including Gold and Silver at Cannes, D&AD, ADC Europe, Eurobest, LIA, New York Festivals, Cresta and several Loerie Awards.​​​​​​​
